- Casual Sketch/Skeb: $20 each
- Chibi type: $30 each
- Bust type: $40 each
- (1/2) Half-Body type: $60, + chara $55
- (3/4)Thigh type: $80, + chara $70
- Full-Body type: $100 each
You can mix character types (except Skeb, Chibi, and Bust), the highest character price will be counted first before any discount. Up to 4 characters total in one art (2 Full-Body characters max).Q: What are the BG prices? (USD, Last updated: Dec 2023)
Default (Free): BG is white, a solid color, or a gradient. Small emoticons eg. hearts, exclamations and random shapes can also be included for free.
Simple ($10): Including effects such as speedlines, glows, flames, sparks, water, minimal props, etc. Can include simple background elements such as clouds, gradients, or a standalone grass/ground/floor tile.Simple upgraded ($20): If it is a full setting/location, or multiple props are requested. I may decline this option if the BG is too complex for me.Q: Are there additional charges? (USD, Last updated: Dec 2023)
Examples of add-on charges, assuming they're fully shown. Price will adjust accordingly depending on cropping, with the minimal price being $5:
- Tiny eg. bird, mouse: $5
- Small eg. cat, dog: $10
- Toddler/baby: $20
- Large eg. dragon, horse: $50
- Complex/very detailed weapon: $15
(I will not charge extra if the weapon design is simple enough)
Q: How are the final prices calculated on Artistree?
From their FAQ: "Artistree charges your clients a platform fee of 6.5%. If the price of the commission is less than $100, an extra $2.60 USD is added. For example, if you set the price of a commission at $100, your customer would pay $106.50 total (before taxes)."
You can choose to cancel the request if the final price is not acceptable.Q: How do I make payment?
Payments are handled through Artistree's site, which uses Paypal. Once your commission is accepted and the price quote is sent, please make the payment within 7 days. If you are unable to pay in time, I will have to decline your request at that point, so that others in the waitlist can move up.
No refunds will be given once I've sent over the first WIP/sketch. In the event that I am unable to deliver you the final product, a partial refund will be issued.

FAQ

Q: How do I make a request?
Just click the Artistree button above!
You do not need an account (but you can make one if you wish):
1. Submit your your request and references. Links can be added in the description.
2. If I accept it, a price breakdown will be provided.
3. If you are agreeable with the price, make the payment (within 48 hours).
4. Upon payment, I will start with the sketch and send you WIPs.
5. You can request for up to 3 revisions (except Skeb).
6. At the end you will receive the final artwork and can download it, enjoy :)
Q: How many slots/commissions are you working on at a time?
There are 6 commission types, but I am only likely working on up to 2 at a time. Anyone who then sends a new form gets automatically put on the waitlist (you can see the requests in line before requesting).
When I have finished with a slot, I will then proceed to the next client in the waitlist. If you see a commission type that is closed, please check back in a week.Q: What is the estimated waiting time for commissions?
Upon payment: I'll start on your sketch. The final product (assuming minimal reviews) can then be expected anytime between the next 2 - 10 days (It depends on our timezones and the art complexity). You can see the Queue to get a rough idea of the timeline. You will be informed if any delays are expected.
Q: What do I receive for the commission?
WIPs will be sent at each stage: sketch, flat colors, final render. For Skeb, you will be sent the uncolored sketch as a progress marker, then the final art.
For the final product:
- Bust artwork: 1500 x 1500 px, 300 DPI, JPG
- (1/2)Half-Body, Chibi, or Skeb artwork: 2000 x 2000 px, 300 DPI, JPG
- (3/4)Thigh artwork: 1767 x 2500 px, 300 DPI, JPG
- Full-Body artwork: 2480 x 3508 px (A4), 300 DPI, JPG
For multiple characters, it may be converted to A4 size for a landscape layout.
- Commercial only: 3508 x 4961 px (A3), 300 DPI, JPGQ: What is the Casual Sketch/Skeb option?
This is similar to the Japanese skeb-type commissions - you can provide an initial description and refs of your request, but it is up to the artist to decide the final art. This means no revisions or changes will be done (unless I made a clear design mistake). The style I use here is also more 'sketchy' and less polished, but the overall prices are lower.
For more creative control over the final result, please consider the other options.Q: Do you draw OCs?
Yes, I can draw your original character! I will not design the OC for you. You MUST provide an existing character sheet or clear screenshots of your OCs. I will reject the commission if any designing/creation is involved. You can also request for your OC to be dressed as another character (please provide outfit refs).
Q: How do I make changes to the commission?
In the Artistree site, you will be able to review WIPs and then the final render. You can request up to 3 changes throughout the process (except for Skeb). Once the detailed sketch is approved, no major changes are allowed (eg. pose or composition change) except for color tweaks or minor changes.
To prevent multiple changes, if you already have a clear idea in mind, please state details like posing and presentation in your description when submitting the form.Q: What can I use my personal commission for?
You can use it as an icon, banner, wallpaper, sticker, even print it out - but only for your personal use and display, or as a gift. Please do not mass distribute, sell, make advertisements, convert into NFT, use for AI training, or make profits out of the artwork. You can repost it outside of Twitter/Tumblr too, preferably with a credit mention/link back.
Q: Can I post my commissions online or share them?
Of course! Just remember to include a link back to me somewhere :) You can ask for a watermarked version from me if needed. Note that I will also post them to my social medias. Artworks involving OCs can opt out of this in the request.
Q: What can I use my commercial commission for?
Besides the personal usage listed above, commercial usage includes selling signed prints, use for advertising on social media and stream channels, and use for printed banners/posters. It still does not allow any NFT or AI training use.
The artwork will still be uploaded to my usual socials, but only after I've received your approval or after you have publicly revealed it. The art will also be marked with my usual watermark in a corner.Modification of artwork: You are not allowed to modify the illustration further via another artist or software. You may crop or rotate the artwork if needed to fit your advertising. You are not allowed to remove the watermark when selling as a print.
